Multimedia Communications and Networking Lab headed by prof. Hyunggon Park is a research entity in the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Ewha Womans University.

Our research has focused on game theoretic approaches for distributed resource management (resource reciprocation and resource allocation) strategies for multi-user systems and multi-user transmission over wireless/wired/peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, efficient and robust multimedia streaming strategies using network coding, fairness paradigms for resource management using game theory, and cross-layer optimized wireless multimedia transmission using resource and information exchange.

We currently collaborate with Exploratory Stream Analytics (ESA) Group at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, Hawthorne, New York, USA, Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS4) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, and Multimedia Communications and Systems Laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, USA, for several research projects.

All information about our current projects, with brief description of the results and the links to current publications, can be found on Research page. If you are interested in our group, please send me an email with your CV (or resume).
